How It All Began ...
In the fall of 2012, Daniel Rodrigue and Justin Goode met for the first time over a beer at a local bar in Dallas. Their paths crossed due to their outspoken passion for instant film. At that point, they started vectoring towards what is now the Instant Film Society, a group of photographers who enjoy sharing with others what they prefer to do most of the time ... shoot instant film. The Instant Film Society's first #PolaWalk was scheduled at the State Fair of Texas in 2012 and the rest is now "instant history".
The IFS was founded in 2012 to increase awareness, accessibility & understanding of analog instant photography.
